Once the movers have finished unloading, the ‘moving in’ phase begins. Casa di Vita assists clients in setting up their new residence, helping with unpacking, setting up filing and storage systems, arranging furniture, and designating places for artwork and valuables. Working closely with our clients, we make the transition as smooth as possible so that our clients can feel at home on the first day.
The work of preparing for any kind of move, particularly from a larger residence to a smaller one, can be overwhelming. Decisions have to be made about what will fit into the new place, and drawers, closets, attics and basements have to be sorted through.
Casa di Vita offers assistance with all aspects of move preparation, including arranging for sale of valuable items, charitable donations, and hauling away things that are of no value. Our organizational specialist works closely with clients to help them make decisions about things they no longer need, and helps them set up efficient systems for their new residence. We also help our clients select movers and oversee the moving process, making sure that everything is labeled correctly and that the movers know where things go.
